The Poochie Palace – a premier destination for dog grooming – is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dog Groomer to join our warm and talented team.
Since 2016, The Poochie Palace has been dedicated to providing exceptional grooming experiences for our furry clients and outstanding customer service to their paw-rents. Based in our welcoming salon, we ensure every pooch leaves looking beautiful, smelling gorgeous, and feeling their best.
We’re looking for an experienced, confident dog groomer to join our busy, friendly salon team.
This is a permanent part-time position with regular overtime available for the right person, making it a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for both stability and the ability to increase their earnings.
We’re an extremely busy salon with a long waiting list and are regularly turning clients away, so there is plenty of opportunity for additional hours for someone efficient and motivated.
Please note: this is not a trainee or junior role. Applicants must be confident grooming independently from start to finish.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven dog grooming experience
- Must be able to groom a wide range of breeds independently, including breed styling to a high standard
- Confident managing dogs from prep/bath through to full groom independently
- Able to work efficiently in a busy salon environment
- Friendly, reliable, proactive team player
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Passionate about dog welfare and maintaining high grooming standards
