Overview
We are seeking experienced Rainscreen Cladding Installers to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing high-quality rainscreen cladding systems on a variety of commercial and residential projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative building façades, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Applicants should possess a strong background in construction and be comfortable working at heights and with various tools and materials. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities for those seeking to develop their skills in this specialised field.

Responsibilities

Reading and interpreting technical schematics, drawings, and installation instructions
Measuring, cutting, and fitting cladding panels accurately to specified dimensions
Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to install cladding systems
Ensuring proper attachment of rainscreen panels to building façades in accordance with safety standards and project specifications
Assisting with the preparation of surfaces and substrates prior to installation
Collaborating with other trades such as carpenters, masons, and roofers to ensure seamless integration of building elements
Performing heavy lifting tasks safely during the handling and positioning of large panels or materials
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout the project duration
Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations on site

Skills

Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings
Experience with welding, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, roofing or related construction skills is desirable
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for cladding installation
Knowledge of construction safety procedures and protocols
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good teamwork and communication abilities
Prior experience working at heights is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided for suitable candidates
