Introduction
Cygnets Art School is expanding! We’re looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and reliable Art Teacher to join our creative team as we grow across Bexley and Eltham.
At Cygnets, we specialise in teaching traditional fine art skills — drawing, painting, and sculpture , through unique and engaging projects designed for children aged 5–16. Our classes are small, our materials are professional quality, and our teachers are experienced artists who love to share their creativity.

- Teach fine art classes at one or more of our local branches (Eltham, New Eltham, Bexley).
- Run after-school clubs and workshops in local primary schools.
- Deliver fun and structured lessons for groups of up to 16 students (assistants provided for larger classes).
- Follow our provided curriculum and step-by-step video guides for each project.
- Use materials supplied by Cygnets (you’ll need to be able to travel with sets of art materials to class locations).
What We’re Looking For
- A creative, friendly, and confident teacher with a passion for art and education.
- Experience working with children in a teaching or workshop setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Access to reliable transport to travel between class locations.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay per class.
- All materials, lesson plans, and project guides provided.
- A flexible schedule that fits around other commitments.
- Opportunities to grow with our expanding network of schools.
- A rewarding, fun, and inspiring working environment.
