Full job description

West Coast MEP are looking for experienced Plumber’s Mates to join the company.

We are seeking a motivated Plumber’s Mate to support our mechanical team across a range of residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will work alongside qualified plumbers, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and plumbing systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with some experience who is looking to develop their skills and progress within the industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and mechanical systems in line with site requirements and safety regulations.
Support with pipework installation, including cutting, measuring, and fitting.
Assist with the installation of sanitaryware, fixtures, and fittings.
Help with pressure testing and commissioning activities where required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Follow instructions from qualified plumbers and site supervisors.
Ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working order.

Requirements:

GCSEs or equivalent.
Some experience in plumbing or mechanical work preferred.
Basic understanding of plumbing systems and site safety procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Punctual with good timekeeping.
Willingness to learn and take instruction.

Pay: £140.00 per day
