The Lead Technical & O&M Delivery Co-ordinator is a business-critical role within EnergyForce, responsible for owning the technical and day-to-day delivery execution of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities across the business. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with operational oversight. It spans technical co-ordination and on-site involvement, ensuring O&M delivery works are managed end-to-end. Using cloud-based service and management software the Lead Technical & O&M Delivery Co-ordinator will identify, log and support the delivery of a successful Operations & Maintenance service to our new and existing clients supporting EnergyForce and third-party products. The role will require liaising with strategic partners as well as clients to ensure effective delivery and resolution of problems.
The Role
The role will require daily liaising with engineers for updates and ensuring all service requests are undertaken; the Lead Technical & O&M Delivery Co-ordinator will maintain the company’s exceptional level of customer communication and satisfaction. Adhering to stringent timelines and upholding the high standards you will communicate to management the status of all Ongoing support contracts ensuring targets and Key Performance Indicators are exceeded while also owning product direction, technical standards, and the introduction of new solution offerings into the business. The role goes beyond EV technical support, covering the full EnergyForce product and service portfolio, with clear accountability for delivery quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and technical scalability.
This is a customer-facing technical role, requiring clear communication, confidence discussing electrical systems, and the ability to translate technical issues into understandable outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd level remote technical support for:
- Solar PV systems
- EV charging infrastructure
- Battery energy storage systems
- Diagnose electrical, communication and system faults, resolving issues remotely where possible and escalating to site visits when required.
- Act as a technical point of contact for customers, providing clear, professional updates on faults, resolutions, limitations and next steps.
- Support field engineers with live technical assistance, fault-finding and configuration guidance.
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and system layouts to support diagnosis and commissioning.
- Log, track and manage support cases within internal systems, maintaining clear records, workflows and escalation paths.
- Configure, test and commission EV charge points and associated systems to support projects and O&M operations.
- Carry out workshop-based R&D, including testing new hardware, firmware updates and system configurations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, documentation, technical standards and customer experience.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance, escalating risks or non-conformances appropriately.
About You
- Technically minded, with experience or strong interest in electrical systems, electronics, IT, control systems or similar disciplines.
- Working knowledge of electrical principles and system behaviour (formal electrical qualifications advantageous but not essential).
- Previous experience with EV chargers, solar PV or battery systems is beneficial, but not required.
- Confident communicating with customers, engineers and internal teams in a clear, professional and customer-focused manner.
- Able to explain technical and electrical concepts in plain English to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a logical, methodical approach to fault diagnosis.
- Well organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple support cases.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a wider technical team.
