The Role:

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Duty Supervisor & Gym Instructor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the leisure centre during your shifts. You will be the key point of contact for both staff and customers, ensuring that the highest standards of customer service, safety, and cleanliness are maintained at all times.

If you're someone who enjoys working with a wide range of people - from beginners to experienced gym-goers, and from teens to seniors, we want to hear from you. Applicants should hold a relevant Gym Instructor qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations of the centre during assigned shifts
Lead, motivate, and support staff
Ensure health & safety policies and procedures are followed at all times
Ensure that all staff, customers, contractors and visitors are working to the highest standards to ensure a safe and secure environment
Ensure sufficient numbers of appropriately trained staff are available to safely deliver services
Ensure that the facility programme is delivered successfully
Carry out facility checks and ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards
Have knowledge of and actively promote and sell our products and services
Undertake administrative functions, stock management and the maintenance of accurate records
Carry out general tasks including routine maintenance and cleaning duties as required
Conducting gym inductions and fitness assessments
Designing and reviewing exercise programmes
Supporting members to achieve their fitness goals
Maintaining equipment and gym standards
Delivering exceptional customer service
