Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join the busy and growing Accountancy practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of accounts working alongside the Senior Accounts Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a dynamic organisation. The ideal applicant will have experience with Microsoft office and good computer skills, experience of accounting software would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
Prepare reports related to accounts and financial activities as required
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents

Requirements

Experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero (not essential)
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Prior experience in an administrative or finance role is desirable
A recognised qualification in accounting or finance is advantageous but not essential
