Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Instructors to join our construction, hair& beauty & post 16 teams during term time working 42 weeks of the year, 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate will support lead instructors in delivering high-quality educational experiences, ensuring that students receive the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about teaching and eager to develop their skills in an instructional environment.

Duties

Assist lead instructors in planning and implementing lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Provide support to students during lessons, offering guidance and answering questions as needed.
Help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters learning and participation.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to lead instructors regarding individual student needs.
Prepare instructional materials and resources for lessons, ensuring all equipment is ready for use.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Assist with administrative tasks related to student records and attendance as required.

Experience

Previous experience in an educational setting or as a teaching assistant is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students of varying ages and backgrounds.
A genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire others in their learning journey.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative when required.
Familiarity with relevant subject matter or teaching methodologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
