Part-Time Dental Receptionist (Private Practice)

Location: Tregony, situated between St.Austell & Truro, Cornwall
Hours: Thursday & Friday, plus holiday & sickness cover
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are a well-established, fully private dental practice known for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a calm and professional environment. Our team is dedicated to providing an exceptional patient journey, from the moment they arrive to the completion of their treatment.

We are looking for a friendly, and organised Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis.

Role Overview

As the face of the practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive a first-class experience. You will manage front-of-house operations with professionalism and warmth, reflecting the high standards of our private clinic.

Key Responsibilities

Providing a warm, professional welcome to all patients and visitors
Managing appointment bookings and clinician diaries efficiently
Handling incoming calls and patient enquiries with a high level of care
Explaining treatment plans, fees, and payment options clearly
Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks
Maintaining a well-presented and inviting reception area
Ensuring patient confidentiality at all times

About You

Previous reception or front-of-house experience (private healthcare or dental experience desirable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Well-presented, professional, and approachable
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident using computer systems (dental software experience is a bonus)
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
