We are a Norwich-based fire and security company with a fresh direction and strong ambition. After a recent leadership change, we’re rebuilding our technical team — the right way.

We’re looking for a Fire & Security Engineer who takes pride in doing the job properly. What We Offer

£30,000 – £45,000 salary, depending on experience and compliance knowledge
Company van + fuel card
Door-to-door paid travel – from leaving your home to arriving on site or at the office

Overtime hrs available in weekdays
1.5x pay on weekends
Standby allowance: £15 per day when on call
On-call rota shared across a 4-person team (minimal callouts)

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a field-based role covering Norwich and wider East Anglia (as far as Cambridge), working mainly on commercial and public-sector sites.

You’ll be responsible for:

Installing and maintaining CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and intruder alarm systems
Servicing emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
Fault-finding and completing remedial works
Completing all necessary commissioning and compliance paperwork
Collaborating with the office team and maintaining strong client communication
Identifying and upselling remedial opportunities when appropriate (no on-site quoting)

This is a balanced role — approx. 50% installations, 50% service and fault-finding.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years’ experience as a fire and security engineer
Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire systems
Familiarity with brands such as Hikvision, Paxton, and Pyronix or similar
Comfortable with basic system config and commissioning
Full UK driving licence
Presentable, reliable, and capable of working independently

Nice to Have (but not required):

Experience with gate and barrier automation
Fire suppression knowledge (a future specialist role may open)
