We have an opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our Private Client Department. You will be a key member of the team, assisting with admin tasks across the department. Your role will include general administrative duties in relation to file management, as well as taking new enquiries over the telephone.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a team with a reputation for providing excellent client care. This role is office based in our modern Chelmsford office.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Logging Wills away in accordance with the Firm’s procedures
- General filing – paper and electronic
- Supporting the team with general administrative duties
- Answering the telephone, booking client appointments and obtaining copies of relevant documents required for new meetings
- Organising documentation in readiness for meetings
- Undertaking specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring client matters and information are kept confidential
