Full job description

Job Summary
Arrival Electronics Limited is looking for a highly organised and proactive Purchasing Assistant / Progress Chaser to support our purchasing and office administration functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring supplier orders are processed efficiently, deliveries are monitored and chased, and administrative support is provided across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Raising and processing purchase orders
Chasing suppliers for order acknowledgements and delivery dates
Monitoring outstanding orders and updating internal systems
Communicating with suppliers regarding shortages, delays, and discrepancies
Supporting stock control and inventory administration
Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation
Assisting with invoice queries and supplier account administration
General office administration duties including filing, scanning, and data entry
Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally
Supporting other departments with administrative tasks as required

Skills & Experience

Previous purchasing, procurement, administration, or supply chain experience essential
Experience working within electronics, manufacturing or distribution preferred
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
Experience using ERP or purchasing systems would be advantageous

Pay: £25,500.00 per year
