Job Summary
Guardon Security Limited is seeking a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Executive to support the growth of our Security and Facilities Management operations throughout the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, securing service contracts and supporting the expansion of the company's Security and Facilities Management portfolio across commercial, industrial, logistics, construction and property sectors.
The role will contribute directly to the organisation's growth strategy through revenue generation, client acquisition and contract development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within the Security and Facilities Management sectors.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, market research, direct outreach and industry engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Facilities Managers, Procurement Teams, Property Managers, Site Managers and Business Owners.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, site visits and service consultations.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, tender submissions and service agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and opportunities using CRM systems including Salesforce.
- Work closely with operational and management teams to support successful mobilisation and delivery of new contracts.
- Monitor industry developments, competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, trade shows and industry conferences.
- Prepare regular sales pipeline, forecasting and business development reports for senior management.
- Support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the company's Security and Facilities Management service offerings.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in business development, sales, account management or client relationship management.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, including Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience within Security Services, Facilities Management, Construction, Property Management or Business Services sectors.
- Experience preparing commercial proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
- Understanding of service contract management and B2B sales processes.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
