Are you passionate about sport, fitness, and helping others thrive in an active environment? Cambridge Regional College is seeking a friendly and motivated Sports Centre Assistant to join our team on a variable-hours basis. Hours will be as required by the needs of the business, but will primarily include evenings and weekends, with some daytime availability required. Your hourly rate will be £12.77 per hour.

As a Sports Centre Assistant, you will be the welcoming face of our facility during opening hours and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the Sports Centre. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering fitness classes and gym inductions
Assisting with equipment setup, maintenance, and storage
Upholding health and safety standards at all times
Ensuring all equipment and facilities are clean, tidy, and well maintained
Providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and members of the public

What We’re Looking For:

Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (essential)
Ability to deliver high-energy fitness classes
First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
Enthusiastic, approachable, and professional attitude
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of service
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
