Weekend Active Play and Movement Instructor

Part-time | Sundays only (7-hour shift) | Permanent year-round position
At The Little Gym Cambridge, we help children build confidence, coordination, and social skills through fun, structured, gymnastics-based classes. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic instructor to join our team. You will work with children aged 3–12 years in a positive, supportive environment where learning through movement is at the heart of everything we do.
Please note: This is a permanent, year-round role with consistent weekly hours, not a seasonal or summer job.

Key Responsibilities
- Class Delivery: Lead fun, high-energy, and engaging gymnastics-based classes.
- Safety & Inclusion: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Child Development: Support children in developing movement, coordination, and life skills.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive connections with both children and parents.
- Brand Ambassador: Help grow our community by positively representing our programmes.

What We Are Looking For
- Physical Background: Experience in gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, dance, or parkour is highly advantageous.
- Childcare Experience: Background working with or coaching children is preferred.
- Communication: Confident, clear, and engaging interpersonal skills.
- Attributes: High energy, natural enthusiasm, and a passion for youth development.
- Fitness: Comfortable being active and on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- Mindset: A reliable team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
