Join Our Team as a Gardener
We’re a small but growing business looking for a motivated Gardener/Landscaper to join our team. If you’ve got a passion for gardening and landscaping and enjoy working outdoors, this could be the perfect role for you.
The job involves a mix of general garden maintenance and helping out with landscaping projects such as fencing, turfing, and creating new garden spaces. Since we look after a variety of customers across Cambridge, a valid UK driving licence is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out day-to-day garden maintenance tasks like mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and planting.
- Helping with landscaping projects, including turfing, fencing, pathways, and garden beds.
- Using and taking care of gardening tools and equipment safely (we’ll provide everything you need).
- Making sure all work is done to a high standard and keeps our customers happy.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with customers.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Experience in garden maintenance.
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- Someone who can work well on their own and as part of a team.
- Good communication and people skills.
- A valid UK driving licence (you’ll use a company van for customer visits).
- Physical stamina and willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
Desirable:
- Some knowledge of plants, trees, and general horticulture.
- Lawn care.
- Landscaping, fencing, and turfing
