Job Title: IT Sales & Support Technician (Path to Head of Sales)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekend or evening work)
Salary: £12.90 Per Hour with opportunity for increase and performance-based bonus.

We are an established and growing IT service provider based in Haverhill, dedicated to delivering top-tier technology solutions, workshop repairs, and managed IT services to both local businesses and residential clients.
We are a close-knit, ambitious team that operates with a flat hierarchy. In this role, you will work directly alongside the Company Director, receiving direct mentorship, hands-on training, and a clear, fast-track trajectory to step up into a leadership position as our future Head of Sales.
The Role
This is a unique, dynamic, and highly rewarding role designed for a motivated, tech-savvy individual looking to develop both their technical capabilities and their commercial business sales skills.
We firmly believe that you cannot effectively sell business IT services unless you truly understand the technology behind them. Your time will be split roughly 50/50 between hands-on technical work and driving business growth:
- Corporate Lead Generation & Business Development (50%): Researching local businesses across the local area, making proactive outbound cold calls to identify decision-makers, uncovering their current IT pain points, and booking qualified discovery meetings and IT audits for the Company Director to close.
- Technical IT Support & Workshop Repairs (50%): Undertaking physical hardware diagnostics, desktop/laptop repairs, component upgrades, and testing within our Haverhill workshop. You will also manage Tier 1 helpdesk triage and look for natural opportunities to introduce our premium Nicom+ service package to residential clients looking for ongoing peace of mind.
What We Are Looking For
- A Confident Communicator: You must have an excellent phone manner, be articulate, polite, and completely unfazed by phone rejection. Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or phone-based environment (retail, customer service, or telesales) is essential.
- Hands-on Tech Aptitude: You don't need to be a senior engineer, but you must have a basic level of IT knowledge. (office 365, Windows etc), and a willingness to learn.
- Career Ambition: You want more than just a standard 9-to-5 helpdesk job. You are motivated by long-term growth and are hungry to earn a future leadership title.
- Requirements: Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Haverhill and hold a Full clean UK Driving License for occasional on-site client visits.
