In this role, you will play a key part in developing innovative teaching and learning products that support educators and learners worldwide, helping us deliver on our mission to unlock potential through education.

About the role
As a Product Development Manager, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of products within our portfolio, ensuring they meet customer needs, align with our strategic goals, and are delivered on time, to budget, and to high quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to bring impactful products to life, from concept through to delivery and continuous improvement.
Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Conducting market research, analysing customer insights, and monitoring competitor activity to inform product development
- Managing the development and delivery of products in line with agreed roadmaps and success metrics
- Commissioning and managing external suppliers (e.g. authors, consultants) to deliver high-quality outputs
- Overseeing editorial and quality assurance processes to maintain consistency and excellence
- Collaborating with colleagues across product, marketing, customer support, and international teams to ensure alignment
- Gathering and acting on customer feedback to continuously improve product performance and user experience
- Reviewing processes and ways of working to drive operational excellence and efficiency
This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. About You
You will bring proven experience in a product or content related role, with the ability to manage the end-to-end delivery of products from concept through to launch and continuous improvement. You will have strong analytical skills, using market research, customer insights, and competitor analysis to inform decision-making and shape product direction. A key part of your experience will include effective stakeholder management, demonstrating the ability to collaborate across teams and build strong working relationships with both internal and external partners. You will also have strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and deliver to time, cost, and quality expectations. Finally, you will demonstrate a customer-focused mindset, using feedback and insight to improve products and deliver meaningful outcomes for users.
