Job Description: ARRS General Practitioner (Fixed Term)
Location: West Bromwich
Contract type: Fixed-term | Full-time/Part-time considered
Salary/Rate: £550 per day (outside IR35 or salaried equivalent)
Overview
We are seeking a committed and experienced General Practitioner (GP) to join our Primary Care Network (PCN) on a fixed-term contract as part of the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).
This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients, work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to the ongoing development of primary care services in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient consultations including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Deliver safe and effective clinical care in line with best practice, CQC, and NHS guidelines.
- Collaborate with ARRS roles such as Clinical Pharmacists, Physician Associates, First Contact Practitioners, and Care Coordinators to deliver integrated care.
- Participate in PCN initiatives including QOF, IIF, and enhanced services.
- Support continuity of care and timely patient access across the network.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using approved clinical systems.
- Contribute to clinical meetings, case reviews, and multidisciplinary discussions.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and safeguarding best practice.
