Edgbaston Wellness Clinic is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and digitally minded Marketing Apprentice to join our growing team.
This apprenticeship has been designed for someone who is passionate about social media, content creation, branding, and digital marketing, and who is looking to gain practical experience whilst working towards a recognised qualification.
We are not looking for an experienced marketer. We are looking for someone with genuine enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to learn. The successful apprentice will work alongside experienced business, healthcare, and marketing professionals, developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for a successful career in modern marketing.
Our clinic combines private healthcare, wellness services, aesthetics, preventative medicine, and regenerative health treatments, providing a unique environment in which to develop a broad range of marketing skills.
About the Apprenticeship
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain hands-on experience in:
- Social media management and content creation
- Digital marketing and brand development
- Website management and SEO
- Photography and videography for marketing
- Patient engagement and customer experience
- Email marketing campaigns
- Analytics and campaign reporting
- Healthcare and wellness marketing
- Business development and community engagement
- You will receive ongoing support, mentoring, and training whilst developing a portfolio of work that demonstrates your growing skills and achievements.
What You Will Learn

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an individual who already demonstrates a strong interest in marketing and digital media through their own activities, studies, hobbies, or social media presence.

- Creative and able to generate ideas independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Willing to learn and take on feedback positively
- Professional and confident when communicating with colleagues and clients
- Comfortable using technology and digital platforms
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Essential Experience
Whilst previous employment experience is not required, applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- Active use of one or more social media platforms
- Understanding of what makes engaging social media content
- Examples of content they have created themselves
- Interest in developing personal skills in marketing, branding, or content creation
- Basic understanding of current social media trends
Applicants may be asked to provide examples of their own social media accounts, content, projects, portfolios, or creative work as part of the recruitment process.
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, or similar software
- Basic photography or video editing skills
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Knowledge of websites, WordPress, or SEO
- Interest in health, wellness, fitness, beauty, aesthetics, or healthcare
