Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to oversee safety at our pop up pools, This role requires a responsible individual capable of maintaining a secure environment for all patrons while providing excellent customer service. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and delivering prompt assistance in emergency situations.
Duties
- Monitor swimming areas continuously to ensure the safety of all swimmers and visitors
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and promote safe behaviour
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid when necessary
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the swimming area, equipment, and surrounding facilities
- Keep accurate records of incidents, safety checks, and maintenance activities
- Provide information and assistance to patrons regarding pool policies and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the poolside area to uphold hygiene standards
Skills
- Valid lifeguard certification recognised in the UK (e.g., National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) or equivalent
- Strong swimming ability with excellent rescue skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure during emergency situations
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with patrons and team members
- Organised with keen attention to detail for safety inspections and record keeping
- Physical fitness to perform rescues, administer first aid, and stand for extended periods.

The position is Monday - Friday 8:45 a.m to 3:15 p.m including a paid lunch break.
