Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative interior design concepts, preparing detailed plans, and collaborating closely with clients and contractors to bring visions to life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial spaces, utilising a broad range of design software and construction knowledge. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong project management skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring all designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

Duties

Develop comprehensive interior design concepts aligned with client briefs and project objectives.
Prepare detailed drawings and visualisations using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Create colour schemes, material palettes, furniture layouts, and lighting plans to enhance spatial aesthetics.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure design intent is realised.
Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines.
Oversee the selection of furnishings, fixtures, and finishes that complement the overall design concept.
Conduct site visits during construction phases to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and innovative techniques in interior architecture and design.

Requirements

Proven experience in interior design or related field with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative projects.
Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and CAD software.
Knowledge of project management principles to coordinate multiple aspects of complex projects efficiently.
Familiarity with construction processes and building codes relevant to interior architecture.
Excellent visualisation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches and digital renderings.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and construction teams.
