Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist/Care Navigator to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional front-desk support, assisting patients with their enquiries, and guiding them through their care journey. The ideal candidate will have previous GP Practice and administrative experience, with a passion for delivering compassionate customer service. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner, creating a positive first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up appointments efficiently
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle general enquiries promptly and courteously
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing documentation
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate seamless care delivery
- Support care navigation by providing information about services, resources, and next steps in the patient’s care pathway
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary materials
Qualifications
- Prior office experience is essential; familiarity with healthcare or care navigation settings is advantageous
- Proven administrative experience demonstrating organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a compassionate approach towards patients
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or similar programmes
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- A friendly demeanour combined with the ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly

Pay: £10,816.00-£23,660.00 per year
