About the Role
Are you an experienced Private Client fee earner ready to take genuine ownership of a varied, high-quality caseload? Our target clients are high-net-worth individuals, professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs. We are seeking a technically strong, motivated professional to run and help grow our Estate Planning and associated private client services for this calibre of client, working alongside our Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and wider team. This is a genuine opportunity to make the role your own: the client base and the firm-wide referral relationships are already in place — we need the right person to take them forward.
This is a primarily office-based role on our beautiful historic site, by design: building a private client offering depends on close collaboration with our IFAs and on the face-to-face relationships that high-net-worth clients value. It is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a team environment and enjoys being at the heart of a growing practice.
This is a hands-on, service delivery and growth-focused position. You will manage your own caseload of clients (with support provided) — including complex, high-value estates — delivering high-quality advice on wills, estate planning, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and probate, with significant scope for sophisticated inheritance tax planning. While the role does not require you to be a qualified solicitor, significant practical experience and strong technical knowledge are essential, and you must be confident handling complex matters competently and independently.
You will work closely with IFAs, Directors, the administrative team, and external professionals where required. While the role requires autonomy and ownership of cases, it is set within a collaborative environment that values communication, teamwork and cross-referrals.
