Precision Dental Laboratory Group (@pfsdental), based in Cardiff, is the largest full-service dental laboratory group in Wales. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including Crown & Bridge, Orthodontics, Pressure Forming, and Prosthetics, supporting dental clinicians throughout the UK.
We have built a highly skilled and dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional quality and service by combining traditional craftsmanship with the latest digital technologies. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Orthodontic Technician to join our Orthodontic Department in St Mellons, Cardiff.
Position Details
- Role: Full-Time Orthodontic Technician
- Location: St Mellons, Cardiff
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Salary: Competitive and negotiable, dependent on experience
Essential Requirements
- Qualification in Dental Technology or an equivalent level of knowledge, competency, and experience.
- Experience in the manufacture of Orthodontic appliances.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience working with digital orthodontic software and workflows, including systems such as 3Shape Ortho System.
- Familiarity with 3D printing technologies and digital appliance production.
- Experience manufacturing a wide range of pressure-formed appliances, including:
- Clear aligners
- Retainers
- Night guards
- Whitening trays
- Sports mouthguards
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an in-person interview of approximately one hour. Applicants may also be required to complete a practical bench test to demonstrate their technical skills or provide examples of previously completed work.
