Job Description

Supply Team Education are currently recruiting for a School Administrator to start work in a secondary school in Newport. This role will be full-time (8.30am-4.00pm) and will start immediately.

School Administrators play a crucial role in creating an organised environment for both staff and pupils within the school, providing professional administrative support, performing various duties.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

Making and receiving telephone calls in a helpful and professional manner;
Directing enquiries to the appropriate person;
Monitoring email accounts;
Scheduling appointments;
Contacting parents, carers and outside agencies as required;
Maintaining attendance records;
Providing general administrative support to the school staff;
Using school systems for visitor-sign-in;
Being aware of and complying with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
