Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with Company standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of machined components, including:
o First-off inspection
o In-process inspection
o Final inspection
- Perform subcontract component inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
- Calibrate measuring equipment to maintain high-quality control standards.
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) in line with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation packs, ensuring traceability and verification records are complete and accurate.
- Support integration of new and amended manufacturing or quality standards into company processes.
- Contribute to process documentation improvements and participate in document reviews.
- Engage in customer meetings and audits, acting as a key representative for quality assurance.
- Support and participate in internal, customer, and supplier audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Manage non-conformance reports, concessions, and production permits, ensuring timely resolution.
- Lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to drive quality and process enhancement.
- Be flexible with working hours when necessary to support production and business needs.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
✔ Essential:
- Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and techniques (ISO 9001 experience required).
- Understanding of non-conformance management and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, RCA, 5 Whys).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, including CAD models, tolerances, and geometric tolerances.
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) in compliance with AS9102 or similar industry standards.
✔ Desirable:
- Experience in inspecting plated and painted components.
- Experience in CMM operation and programming (Mitutoyo preferred).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for quality management.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) standards.

Pay: £32,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
