SEND Teacher
Location: Old Windebrowe School, Keswick, Cumbria
Salary: Up to £44,500

Old Winderbrowe School is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join our founding team. Situated in the picturesque town of Keswick, our new school will cater to children with specific learning needs, including Autism, Learning Disabilities, and associated complex needs.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an inspirational and enthusiastic qualified teacher who:
- Due to the needs of our students, primary or early years experience would be desirable
- Has high expectations and a commitment to delivering the best possible education for all students
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to create innovative and engaging learning experiences
- Can adapt teaching methods to ensure all students are challenged and supported with functional, developmentally appropriate targets
- Is flexible, dynamic, well-organised, and reflective in their practice
- Has experience supporting children and young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and complex needs, including those who may be looked after
- Works well as part of a team and can inspire and support colleagues

Additional Information
You will be joining a small, supportive team and will receive high-quality training and development.
This is a full-time position starting in September 2026.
We generally follow the Cumbria term dates, although our five INSET days may vary.
The successful applicant will be required to adhere to our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
