Architectural Designer

Location: Ground Floor Suite, 6 Pioneer Court, Darlington, County Durham, DL1 4WD
Hours: Monday – Friday (Office Based)
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

ADG Architects Ltd is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Architectural Designer to join our growing practice in Darlington.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual who is passionate about architecture and design and is looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive team. You will work on a diverse range of projects, contributing from concept design through to planning and technical delivery.

The Role

As an Architectural Designer, you will play an important role in the development and delivery of architectural projects, working closely with architects, technicians, consultants and clients to produce high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop architectural concepts and assist in creating innovative design proposals.
Prepare planning application drawings, presentation materials and design documentation.
Produce high-quality 3D models, visualisations and presentation graphics.
Create and manage drawings using Revit, AutoCAD and other BIM/CAD software.
Coordinate design information with architects, engineers, consultants and other project stakeholders.
Support projects throughout all stages, from concept and planning through to technical design.
Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience working within an architectural practice (preferred).
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
A good understanding of UK planning legislation and Building Regulations.
Excellent design, presentation and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
