Evening Bar Team Member
Location: Peterborough
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: Weekend evenings
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
We are opening a high-end listening bar in Peterborough, built around exceptional drinks, warm hospitality, and a serious love of music.
This is not a standard bar role. Our venue will focus on bespoke cocktails, carefully selected macro and craft beer, and genuinely interesting non-alcoholic drinks. Behind the bar, we will be using a more creative and scientific approach to drinks development, including house-made syrups, infused spirits, clarified cocktails, centrifuges, vacuum infusers, and precise measurement of sugar and citric acid levels to ensure consistency and quality in every serve. Though management will be creating these during the week for service on the weekend, so you won't have to create any syrups or spirits. Though we're always looking for new ideas as our drinks list grows and changes which you can absolutely have input on.
Alongside the drinks, music is at the heart of what we do. We have invested in a high-end sound system, premium speakers, and a large vinyl collection to create a warm, intimate space that feels more like home than a typical bar.
We will also be showing World Cup games in the bar throughout the tournament.
We are looking for Evening Bar Team Members to join us on weekend evenings only. The right candidates will have a genuine passion for hospitality, drinks, music, and creating memorable guest experiences.
The Role
As an Evening Bar Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering a high level of service in a relaxed but premium environment. You will be serving cocktails, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and helping create the welcoming atmosphere that defines the venue.
You will be expected to learn our drinks menu, understand the methods and ingredients behind each serve, and confidently talk guests through our offering.
This role would suit someone who takes pride in the details, enjoys learning, and wants to be part of something more creative than a standard bar job.
