Magnetic Business Development is a specialist B2B growth consultancy and strategic outbound call centre, helping ambitious organisations build relationships, open conversations and secure meetings with senior decision-makers.
For more than 20 years, we've worked with clients across professional services, engineering, insurance, construction, property and other technical and regulated sectors.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced outbound sales professional to lead, develop and energise our Business Development team.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You won't simply be managing dashboards and reports. We are looking for someone who enjoys leading from the front, coaching by example and remaining actively involved in outbound business development.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of our Business Development team whilst managing your own client campaigns and maintaining your own outbound activity.
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate and develop the Business Development team
- Drive productivity, accountability and high standards
- Coach team members on call quality, objection handling and commercial conversations
- Conduct regular one-to-ones and team meetings
- Create a positive, high-performance environment
Business Development
- Manage your own outbound campaigns
- Conduct professional outreach via telephone, email and LinkedIn
- Secure qualified meetings with senior decision-makers
- Represent clients professionally and credibly
- Lead by example through consistent, high-quality activity
Performance & Operations
- Monitor KPIs and campaign performance
- Improve conversion rates and campaign outcomes
- Maintain CRM discipline and reporting standards
- Support onboarding and development of new starters
- Work closely with the Founder on operational improvements and future growth plans
About You
You will likely have experience in:
- Outbound B2B sales
- Business development
- Appointment setting
- Recruitment
- Sales team leadership
- Telesales management
Most importantly, you will enjoy being both a leader and a practitioner. You still enjoy speaking with senior decision-makers, building relationships and securing opportunities, whilst helping others improve and perform at their best.
