Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience working within a warehouse or industrial environment. Responsibilities
- Operate various manufacturing and assembly machinery in accordance with safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, adjustments, and repairs as required
- Assist in the assembly of products, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Monitor production outputs and report any issues or malfunctions promptly
- Support warehouse activities including loading, unloading, and inventory management when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Experience with assembly processes and equipment operation
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 20kg when required
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for documentation purposes
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
