About The Role

Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Part Time, 15 hours per week
Number of Positions: 1
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Salary: £24,796 per annum

About the Candidate

The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Play worker who is committed and passionate about providing quality playcare in our before & after school club provision.

We are looking for someone who:

can create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
can establish good relationships with children; interact positively with children, encouraging cooperation and mutual support; monitor children’s well-being and readiness for class; provide help and support to children.
is able to work within the framework of the club’s and School’s policies and procedures.
will be committed to safeguarding the children in our care.
will work flexibly as part of the larger team, assisting and supporting colleagues wherever required, in order to ensure the smooth running of the club.
