Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your main objective will be to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activities
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any incidents or observations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with any inquiries or concerns
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessaryRequirements:```
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role is preferred
Requirements:
- valid SIA license.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is an advantage
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly if needed
- Must pass a 5 year background check
