Overview
A Fantastic Opportunity to come join our Apprentice Program - We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood development and eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment. The role involves working closely with children, supporting their learning and wellbeing, and gaining valuable experience in nursery management and childcare practices. Applicants should possess a genuine interest in fostering young children's growth and be committed to professional development within the early years sector.

Responsibilities

Assist with the supervision and care of children in accordance with nursery policies and procedures
Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation
Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children at all times
Engage with children through play, conversation, and educational activities to encourage their curiosity and development
Support the team with daily routines such as meal times, nappy changing, and outdoor play
Maintain effective communication with colleagues, parents, and guardians regarding children's progress and wellbeing
Participate in ongoing training programmes to develop knowledge of early childhood education and childcare best practices
Assist in managing nursery resources efficiently and responsibly

Qualifications

Experience with children or in childcare settings is desirable but not essential; a genuine interest in early childhood education is required
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with management and leadership qualities
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
A proactive attitude towards learning and professional growth within the childcare sector

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: £8.00-£13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
