Full job description

Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution (MMID) is the UK’s leading producer and distributor of fresh milk, cream, butter, and dairy ingredients. Operating across extensive logistics and manufacturing networks in the country, MMID delivers over 2.6 billion litres of fresh milk annually to more than 5,500 locations across Britain.

Our strategically located depots enable us to move milk efficiently from farm to fridge—ensuring freshness, speed, and reliability. MMID is committed to operational excellence, sustainability, and supporting British agriculture, making us a trusted partner in the dairy supply chain.

We are seeking Class 1 Drivers to join our Manchester Depot (M17 1TU) within the Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering flexibility, modern vehicles, and no overnight stays.

Pay & Benefits:

Hourly rate: £17.30 - £28.42 (dependent on shift)
Overtime: £19.46 per/hour
Full time permanent contract, 33 days holiday (increasing with service), enhanced family leave, life assurance (x2), company pension (company will match contributions up to 4%), uniform, secure parking, and access to Müller Rewards discounts.
Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 (including some weekend working)

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver milk products to stores and regional distribution centres - includes loading and unloading trolleys
Ensure safety, complete vehicle checks, plan routes, and maintain professionalism as the face of our business.

Requirements:

HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E), CPC, digital card
Max 6 minor licence points (no serious convictions)
Multi-drop Class 1 experience desired
Physically fit for loading/unloading trolleys
Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong team player
