GIF Products is a well-established UK supplier of laminating films, foils, adhesives and print finishing products, supplying the printing trade across the UK & Ireland for over 30 years. Based in Long Crendon, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service, quality products and fast turnaround times. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our team.
This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse and production environment. Full in-house training and product training will be provided for the ideal candidate.
Daily Duties
· Setting up and operating our slitting/rewind conversion machine used for custom cutting lamination rolls to customer specifications
· Loading raw materials onto the machine and unloading completed finished products safely and efficiently
· Monitoring production schedules and working to order deadlines to ensure customer deliveries are met on time
· Supporting the warehouse team with general warehouse duties during busy periods when required
· Maintaining a clean and organised working area while following all health & safety procedures
About You
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Practical and able to think on your feet
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit, as some heavy lifting is required
- Previous warehouse or machine experience preferred, but not essential
Full product training and full in-house training will be given to the successful candidate.
Licence / Certification
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Preferred)
- Reach Forklift Double Deep (Preferred)
Experience
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Machine experience (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)

Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Occasional overtime available.
