We are a busy wholesale food distribution centre supplying a wide range of products to restaurants, retailers, and catering businesses. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our team at our family run business in Bude.
Full training / inductions on procedures will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties:
- Picking and load customer orders accurately
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Organising and maintaining stock
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean and safe
- Conducting stock checks and reporting discrepancies
Driving Duties:
- Delivering goods to customers in a timely manner
- Planning delivery routes efficiently
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately
- Maintaining the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Providing excellent customer service on delivery
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
- Good level of physical fitness (lifting involved)
- Strong attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Good communication skills
Pay & Hours of work:
- Start time 08.00 hrs usually with job till finish (Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week).
- Wages are paid on a Monthly basis.
- Holiday accrued from your first shift (No Holidays allowed in July/August)
