Job Description:

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated staff to join our team at The Doxford Group. An exciting new role has been developed at two of the most exciting and truly unique wedding venues, situated in rural Northumberland.

The Doxford Group is looking to recruit a Wedding & Events Co-ordinator who has vision, enthusiasm, and the passion to continue our mission to deliver magical weddings which creates lasting memories for all guests and of course the special couple.

Job Description:

Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming enquiries, nurturing leads and converting them into confirmed bookings for Doxford Barns, Charlton Hall and The Tempus.

Assisting in researching and sourcing new contacts from across the regions and the UK, building a pipeline of opportunities and securing new bookings

Create, manage, and maintain a structured calendar of non-wedding events to drive consistent year-round revenue.

Attend networking events, wedding fairs, and industry showcase events as required

Host regular venue showcases, drop-in appointment sessions, and open days.

Conduct appointments and lead initial venue tours for prospective couples and corporate clients to accommodate customer needs.

Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, and client communications.

Prepare proposals, booking confirmations and contracts in a timely and professional manner.

To actively help sell, plan, coordinate and deliver superior weddings and events at Doxford Barns, Charlton Hall and The Tempus

To conduct planning meetings with all client’s and to have ongoing contact with them until their event.

To keep full and accurate records for each wedding or event and ensure that all schedules are completed one month prior to the wedding/event delivery

To act as a contact for the couple/client during the planning of their wedding or event, handling their enquiries quickly and effectively, throughout their wedding or event experience.

You will be required to attend all events you have assisted in planning, be there to greet them on their arrival to Doxford Barns/Charlton Hall/ The Tempus

To prepare detailed function sheets for both the FOH and kitchen teams to ensure that the event is ran smoothly and in a timely manner

Pay: up to £28k per annum plus £3k bonus (DOE)

Experience:

Event Management: 2 years (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
