Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team on a temporary basis 2 / 3 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in residential and commercial settings. A valid driving licence is essential for this position.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting client expectations.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues as necessary.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour choices and finishes.
Follow health and safety regulations while working on-site to ensure a safe environment for yourself and others.

Skills

Proficient in construction painting techniques with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to drive and travel to various job sites as required.
Excellent organisational skills to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
