Full job description

Experienced in diagnostics and looking for a change? This opportunity is to join our small team within this busy independent dealership based on Marsh Barton.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Diagnostic Technician to support our sales, warranty work and service our customers vehicles. You will work on all makes and models of diesel and LCV vehicles. Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

- Conducting repairs and maintenance on various types of commercial vehicles.

- Diagnosing faults along with some basic servicing, brakes, cambelts etc.

- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues

- Assembling and disassembling equipment as needed

- Performing routine inspections to identify potential problems

- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operations

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

- Ability to lift heavy objects as required

- Welding experience is preferred but not required

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy in work

- Strong organizational and time management abilities

If you are a dedicated technician with a passion for maintaining and repairing equipment, we encourage you to apply for this position. Experience in a diagnostic role previously is essential.

Full UK driving licence is essential.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunch

Alternate Saturdays 08:00 - 12:00

Salary:

£40,000 - £60,000 per annum

Overseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role. We are not sponsoring Visa’s at this time, so please refrain from applying unless eligible to work in the UK
