About Us

We are a specialty coffee roastery supplying wholesale customers across the UK, with an onsite brew bar and kitchen at our roastery in Cheltenham. Open seven days a week, we're passionate about making as much as possible from scratch and serving food and coffee we're proud of.

Our bakery offering is a key part of the café experience. From cinnamon buns and cruffins to cakes and seasonal specials, everything is made in-house with a focus on quality, consistency, and great ingredients.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced and organised baker to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is focused on producing high-quality baked goods in large batches to keep our café stocked throughout the week.

You'll be responsible for planning and executing production efficiently, ensuring baking targets are met while maintaining excellent standards of quality and consistency. We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently, is highly organised in their approach, and can balance attention to detail with the pace required to produce volume.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their craft but also understands the importance of efficiency, stock management and delivering a reliable production schedule within a busy food operation.

Responsibilities

· Producing a range of baked goods including cinnamon buns, cruffins, cakes and seasonal items.

· Meeting agreed production targets to ensure the café remains fully stocked throughout the week.

· Baking efficiently in larger batches while maintaining quality and consistency.

· Following recipes and processes accurately.

· Managing ingredient preparation, stock rotation and ordering requirements.

· Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe workspace.

· Contributing ideas for new products and seasonal specials.

About You

· An experienced baker with a strong understanding of pastry, cakes and enriched doughs.

· Able to work independently and manage your own workload.

· Organised, structured and efficient in your approach.

· Comfortable working towards production targets and managing volume.

· Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality products.

· Reliable, self-motivated and detail-oriented.

· Food hygiene knowledge and experience in a commercial kitchen are desirable.
