Full job description

We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Payroll Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll or finance administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Processing payroll accurately and efficiently, including:
P60s, P45s and P11Ds
Starters and leavers
Overtime and salary advances
Managing the Vitality scheme, including:
Registering and removing employees
Entering figures into payroll
Reconciling monthly statements
Administering the company pension scheme, including:
Employee registrations and removals
Updating payroll contributions
Supporting the administration of the Holiday Exchange Scheme
Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records
Assisting with payroll queries from employees and management
Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with payroll legislation and company procedures

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous payroll or finance administration experience
Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
Have excellent numerical and administrative skills
Be confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office
Be able to manage confidential information professionally
Work well independently and as part of a team
