The Role
As a Tenancy Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, acting as the primary point of contact for landlords, tenants, and contractors.
You will oversee all aspects of tenancy management, ensuring properties are maintained effectively, compliance requirements are met, and excellent communication is maintained throughout the tenancy.
This is an office-based role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties
- Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
- Handling tenancy-related enquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Coordinating maintenance works and liaising with contractors
- Managing rent arrears and payment queries
- Arranging tenancy renewals and tenancy changes
- Organising property inspections and reviewing reports
- Managing deposit registrations, returns, and dispute resolutions
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation and industry regulations
- Maintaining accurate records and updating property management systems
- Delivering exceptional customer service to all stakeholders
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Property Management or Tenancy Management
- A strong understanding of residential tenancies and current legislation
- Experience communicating with landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A professional, confident, and customer-focused approach
- The ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure
