Equans is recruiting for a Caretaker to join the team in Blackburn Central High School, BB2 3HJ . This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,954.50 per annum and benefits package.

Shift times:

This role operates on a rotating weekly shift pattern:

Shift 1: 06:00 – 14:00
Shift 2: 14:00 – 22:00

What will you deliver?

In this role, you will support the day-to-day running of the school site, helping to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out general caretaking, cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks
Supporting site security, including opening and closing the premises
Building positive relationships with school staff and community users
Ensuring services are delivered to a consistently high standard
Supporting compliance with health and safety requirements

You will also work closely with the Area Supervisor to support service delivery across the site.

For this role you must undergo A DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential

Essential:
