As our operations continue to expand across Northern Ireland and the wider UK market, we are seeking an experienced Senior Distribution Manager (m/f/d) to lead and optimize our end-to-end distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:
Distribution Network Management:
Oversee daily distribution activities, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule across all service regions.
Operational Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop distribution supervisors and operational teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor key operational metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions that improve productivity, service quality, and cost efficiency.
Transport and Logistics Coordination:
Collaborate with transportation providers, warehouse teams, and supply chain partners to ensure seamless movement of goods.
Budget and Resource Planning:
Manage operational budgets, staffing requirements, fleet utilization, and resource allocation to support business objectives.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all distribution activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with senior leadership, procurement teams, customers, and external partners to align distribution operations with organizational goals.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics, distribution, supply chain, or transportation management, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to manage large operational teams, drive performance improvements, and lead change initiatives within a distribution environment.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of distribution operations, transportation planning, inventory flow, warehouse coordination, and service-level management.
Analytical Ability:
Comfortable using operational data and performance metrics to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience presenting operational results and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Technology Proficiency:
Experience working with warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, ERP platforms, and performance reporting tools.
Mindset:
Results-oriented, proactive, and adaptable. You are capable of solving complex operational challenges while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business performance.
Pay: £4,600.00-£6,000.00 per month
