Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior/Support Chef to support our Head Chef in the day to day operation of our kitchen. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high food , supporting junior team members and ensuring smooth service delivery while helping to uphold our reputation for quality and consistency

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen.
Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
Assist with menu execution and development.
Supervise and support junior chefs and kitchen assistants during service.
Ensure all food hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP procedures are followed.
Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation standards.
Help minimise food waste and maintain stock control procedures.
Assist with ordering, stock rotation and inventory management when required.
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient working environment.
Contribute positively to teamwork and help foster a professional kitchen culture.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience as a Senior Chef, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or similar role.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations and food safety standards.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to support and develop other team members.
Relevant food hygiene qualifications are desirable.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
