Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook/Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals according to recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assist in planning menus and developing new dishes to enhance our offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing up and sanitising work surfaces and equipment
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure ingredients are stored correctly
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standard
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in catering environments is desirable
- Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability
