The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing & design team to ‘deliver the extraordinary’ to our customers through a wide range of marketing activities: driving sales, increasing brand awareness, and strengthening customer relationships across both B2B and B2C audiences.
They will be joining an established in-house marketing & design team, with lots of opportunity to grow and develop skills across the marketing mix in both a B2B and B2C context. Applying their content creation skills to grow engagement by showcasing our exciting product ranges, events, promotions and more. Following the Marketing Plan to assist in the creation of our campaigns both online and offline.
This role is at the heart of day-to-day marketing delivery - bringing ideas to life quickly, managing multiple priorities, and helping ensure consistency across everything we do - a hands-on, but supported, role involved with all aspects of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
Working alongside the Marketing team to;-
- Develop and grow our social media channels
- Support the creation of email campaigns
- Use our CMS systems for web and e-commerce administration tasks that support our marketing campaigns (Magento and Shopify)
Creative
Apply creative skills to;-
- Produce and edit engaging video & photographic content for social and digital platforms
- Write strong, on-brand copy for use across the business: for campaigns, communications etc.
Administrative
Provide administrative support in;-
-Coordinating seasonal promotions, product launches, and trade events including print and digital marketing.
-Engaging with customer’s comments and questions on our social media channels.
- Managing inventory of marketing materials and promotional items.
- Coordinating with vendors and printers, sourcing quotes.
Skills & Experience required
· Previous experience in a marketing support, or coordination role
· Strong social media skills, creating video shorts, basic editing and photography for social media
· Experience using design and editing software/apps (e.g. Canva, Adobe Design Suite)
· Experience in email marketing
· Strong organisational and multitasking skills
· Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
· Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
· Confident using Microsoft Office and general business systems
· Capability with generative AI – understanding both its uses and limitations.
Desirable
Experience in retail or wholesale environments
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
