The Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Sausage Production Lead to join our busy butchery team. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you will play an important role in producing high-quality sausage products while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a lead for our sausage production room
- Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Preparing ingredients and assisting with sausage manufacturing processes.
- Weighing, mixing, filling, linking, and packing sausage products.
- Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues to the Production Manager.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area.
- Following all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Assisting with stock handling and movement where required.
- Working collaboratively as part of a production team to meet daily targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food production, meat processing, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Experience operating production machinery.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to food safety procedures.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Schedule: Monday to Saturday rota, early starts required, flexible shift availability is essential.
